What's new in Em

A few tips from Em for new agents
New to Em? For your first two weeks, Em sends a short email about every other day with one thing to try: telling her about a call, bringing your people in, BCCing your emails, scanning a card, and more. She skips anything you're already doing, and every tip has a link to stop them.
- ImprovedOctober 13, 2026
Your account, one tap away
On a computer, tap your name at the bottom of the menu for your profile, What's new, Help, and signing out, so the menu stays tidy. And if you reply to any email from Em (your morning email, a brief, a sign-in code), it now reaches a real person at support@emthecrm.com.
- NewOctober 13, 2026
Em Help is open
Stuck on something? Tap Help at the bottom of the menu and Em Help opens in a new window, so you can keep working while you read. There are step-by-step guides for agents, team leaders, and assistants, a search box that finds them as you type, and a Write to us form when a guide doesn't cover it. A real person reads every message.
- NewOctober 12, 2026
Your team decides who keeps clients
Team leaders: a new Clients and leads section on the Team page sets your rules. When someone leaves, they take all their clients, only the ones they brought in, or none, and deals under contract can stay with the team. You also choose whether agents can export their contacts. Clients you or an assistant add to an agent's book are marked Team lead. When someone leaves, open them on the Team page, tap Leaving the team, and Em shows what goes and what stays. You can switch any client, then pick who on the team takes the ones that stay, with their notes, history, scanned photos, and email attachments. In a teammate's book you can now leave a note or a to-do on a client's page, or move the client to someone else. Someone who leaves keeps Em on their own, and their first week is free.
- FixedOctober 12, 2026
Team people list skips sample clients
On the Team page, each person's contacts, touches this month, and active deals no longer count the sample clients Em sets up for practice, and calls that didn't connect aren't counted as touches. The list now lines up with Team numbers.
- NewOctober 12, 2026
Team numbers, and a nudge when someone needs one
Team leaders: the Team page now shows how the team is doing over the last 7, 30, or 90 days (touches, new leads, how fast they hear back, deals under contract, and closed) and the same numbers for each person. Em also flags who could use a hand right now: new leads nobody has called, client emails waiting more than a day, a pile of overdue to-dos, a quiet week, or not opening Em. Tap Nudge and Em writes a friendly note from those reasons for you to edit and send. It shows at the top of their Today with the clients linked, they tap On it or reply, and you see that back on the Team page.
- NewOctober 12, 2026
Your team's own campaign library
Made a campaign that works? Open it and tap Share with my team. Your team leader (or someone they let approve) reads it and approves it or sends it back with a note, and then everyone on the team can find it in the campaign library under your team's tab and add it to their own campaigns. Only the emails, who it's for, and the timing are shared, never the people in it. Improve yours later and Update the team copy sends the new version for an OK. Leaders can recommend the best ones and retire old ones, and a client never gets the same team campaign twice.
- ImprovedOctober 11, 2026
No more repeat campaigns
Em now remembers who got each campaign series, even after a campaign ends or is deleted. A person's page shows the campaigns they got before. When you start a campaign for a group, anyone who already got that same series is left out automatically, and the campaign tells you how many. Adding someone by hand who already got it asks first: "Grace got this series in Oct 2026. Add Grace again anyway?"
- NewOctober 11, 2026
Long-term campaigns
The campaign library has four new campaigns that run for most of a year, under Long-term: A year of staying in touch (12 monthly emails for past clients, mostly useful homeowner tips), Long-term buyer nurture (for buyers 6 to 18 months out), Future seller (for owners selling in a year or two) and Renter to owner. A campaign can now hold up to 12 emails.
- NewOctober 11, 2026
The campaign library
Campaigns now has a library of 12 ready-made email series, free to add: a "Still looking?" revival for quiet leads, a seller prep series, a first-time buyer series, a referral ask for past clients, a quarterly market update, and seasonal notes (Thanksgiving is up now). Read every email before you add one. Each comes with its emails written and who it's for already picked, so you can send it as is, change any word, or have Em rewrite it in your voice. Nothing goes out until you start it.
- NewOctober 11, 2026
Choose exactly who gets a campaign
Under Who gets it, you can now narrow a group to clients who are buying, selling, or renting, and to people you haven't talked to in 30 days, 90 days, 6 months, or a year. You can also add anyone by name, whatever their group: they get it until they reply or unsubscribe, even if their stage changes. And on a person's page, a new Campaigns card shows what they're in and lets you add them to one in a tap.
- ImprovedOctober 11, 2026
Campaigns ask before adding new people
When you start a campaign, Em now asks whether people who match later should get it too: "No, just these 12" or "Yes, keep adding them." Nobody joins on their own unless you say yes, and you can change it on the campaign any time after it starts. A running campaign now shows Joined and Receiving, so you can see who's still getting it, with a line for anyone who stopped and why (like moving to another stage).
- ImprovedOctober 11, 2026
Polish for bigger screens
On a person's page, a to-do that's due today now has a Check it off button right in Next best move. The Story and All fields switch sits under the header, so nothing runs off a laptop screen. All five Pipeline stages fit without scrolling sideways. In your Inbox, an email with no subject shows the start of what they wrote instead of "(no subject)". The calendar stops repeating a client's name when the event already says it, and People shows a simple dash where there's no phone or email.
- ImprovedOctober 11, 2026
A tidier Em on your phone
Your moves now come first on Today, with setup tucked under them as one next step. A Next up line shows what's coming on today's calendar, and anything already over is greyed out. Tap your picture on Today for Inbox, Campaigns, Open houses, Check-ins, Reports, and the rest. On the calendar, tap a day to see what's on it right under the month. People shows what everyone is and where they stand, the same way for each person. Your profile has quick links to each part of the page. And the story on a fellow agent, lender, or friend is now about how you work together, not a home search.
- ImprovedOctober 11, 2026
ZIP codes, and Ask Em reads between the lines
Say a ZIP code and Em knows the area: "Ben wants to look in 78258" files Stone Oak, and "who's looking in Stone Oak?" also finds someone saved as 78258. Em started you with the San Antonio, Boerne, and Hill Country ZIPs under Profile, Your areas by ZIP code; rename any to the way you say it, add your own, or take one out. Ask Em also thinks of the other ways a note might put it, so "who has a dog?" finds the client whose note says "bringing the puppy".
- ImprovedOctober 11, 2026
Tick it once
When a move on Today is one of your to-dos (Prep docs/CMA) or something you promised a client, ticking it on Today checks off the to-do too, so it doesn't come back tomorrow as overdue. It works the other way as well: check it off on their page and it's done on Today. Undo brings both back. A nudge about something the client owes stays open until they actually do it.
- NewOctober 11, 2026
Buying, Selling, Renting right on their page
Under a client's name there's now a row to tap: Buying, Selling, Renting (Investing and Landlord are under More). Turn on as many as fit, like someone selling one home to buy the next. The label under their name follows ("Buyer and seller"), and so do Today's Buyers and Sellers filters. Em still fills these in from your notes too, and the label keeps up when she does.
- ImprovedOctober 11, 2026
Richer sample clients, and your own to-dos on Today
The sample clients now show off what Em does: a household with a kid and a dog, a promise you made, a deal under contract with its deadlines, and lender, a seller with a listing appointment tomorrow, a listing on its Monday updates, a closing a month ago on its After closing plan, a brand new lead, a friend, a lender, and a fellow agent. Reset them from Today to see the new ones. And a to-do that's your own work (Prep docs/CMA, book photos, get it live) no longer offers to send the client a reminder: it opens their page, where you can check it off. A to-do that starts with Call has a Call button.
- NewOctober 11, 2026
Friends, fellow agents, and vendors
Not everyone in Em is a client. The menu on someone's page (where the stage is) now has a Not a client section: Friend or family, Agent, or Vendor (lenders, inspectors, title, and the rest). Em also picks it up from your notes: "Renee's an agent with KW" or "my lender Jen" sets it for someone new, and asks first for someone already in Em. Agents and vendors stay off Today's lead and catch-up moves, out of the pipeline, campaigns, and reports; birthdays and anything you promised them still show up. Friends and family get an occasional catch-up nudge, since they're your best source of referrals. If one of them starts buying or selling ("Renee wants to list her place in the spring"), Em asks whether to make them a client too. People has filters for each. Their page also has two cards now instead of one: Real estate (budget, areas, timeline, what they're selling) and About them (how to reach them, work, pets, interests, and good to know), and a pet's name shows up in the notification before you meet them.
- ImprovedOctober 10, 2026
Behind-the-scenes safety checks
Em got a security once-over. A few things you might notice: an email that pretends to be from one of your clients (but fails the checks email servers run) is still passed along to you, marked "Careful", and Em doesn't file it on anyone's record. Someone signing in at your open house with a client's email can't change that client's record; a new phone or email they typed shows on the client's timeline for you to add if it's theirs. One email can go to up to 10 people (use a campaign for more), and test emails come to the address you sign in with.
- NewOctober 10, 2026
The Listing plan: a seller update every Monday
When you tell Em a seller signed after a listing appointment, she starts the Listing plan. Three to-dos line up the work: book photos and order the sign, get it live (MLS, lockbox, showing instructions), and plan a first-weekend open house. The day it goes live (the list date you mentioned, or a week out), "It's live" is on Today, ready to write. Then every Monday until it's under contract, a seller update is on Today: showings, feedback, and your advice, written from your notes that week, for you to read and send. Under contract, the Mondays stop on their own. You can also start it by hand on any seller's page under Plans, and change the go-live date there.
- NewOctober 10, 2026
Listing appointments
There's a new kind on the calendar: Listing appt (Em picks it when you type "listing appt", "listing presentation" or "CMA with the Smiths"). The day before, Prep docs/CMA for the address is on Today. The brief before it leads with the home, the price they have in mind, and when and why they're selling. After, Em asks: did they sign, what price did you land on, when do they want to list, and do you have a follow-up appointment? Signed: they become an active client tagged Seller, with the list price and date filed. Thinking it over: a thank-you and recap is waiting tomorrow morning, and a check-back in 3 days. Went with someone else: noted, and a check-in in 6 months, since listings that don't sell come back around. A follow-up appointment you mention goes on the calendar.
- NewOctober 10, 2026
Add someone new right from the calendar
Put "Coffee with Mike Torres" on your calendar and Mike isn't in Em yet? Em spots the name and asks if you want to add him. Tap Add them, add a phone or email if you have it, and pick New lead or Someone I know. Mike gets his own record with the coffee on it (so you get a brief before and "How did it go?" after), a new lead gets the New contact plan, and anything you typed in the notes ("pre-approved for 450, wants Alamo Heights") goes on his record, where Em files the budget and areas. You can also type any name in Find someone and add them from there. Notes on any client's event now go on their record too.
- NewOctober 10, 2026
Add things to your calendar yourself
Click any day on the calendar (or + Add) to put something on it: a showing, a meeting, a call, or something personal like the dentist or a kid's game. As you type, Em reads it for who it's with, so "Coffee w Dana", "Call the Smiths about the appraisal" or "Show 418 Cedar to Priya" links to the right person, and she picks the kind for you. Change either before you save. A showing or meeting with a client works like any Em books: a brief before, and "How did it go?" after. Personal things stay just for you: on your calendar and Today, never on anyone's record.
- NewOctober 10, 2026
Friday wins
Friday at 3 PM, Em sends you a look back at your week: deals that moved, how many people you reached, the days you hit your goal, your streak, promises you kept, clients who wrote back, and new people, plus everything Em filed for you. Anything due Monday is listed too, so it's off your mind for the weekend. It comes as an email and a phone notification, and a quiet week gets nothing. See this week's now, or turn it off, in your profile under Friday wins.

Find anyone, fast
Press / anywhere in Em (or tap Search in the sidebar) and start typing: a name, a spouse's or kid's name, an email, the last four digits of a phone number, a street, or a tag. Press Enter to open them. Pages are in there too (try "open houses"), and anything else can go straight to Em as a question. On Today, typing a name in Em's box shows the people it matches right under it, so on your phone it's one tap to their page. No credits used.
- NewOctober 10, 2026
Open house mode
Hosting an open house? Go to Calendar, then Open houses, and add the address and time. Em gives you a sign-in screen for a tablet by the door (it clears itself after each visitor, so nobody sees who came before) and a QR code sign to print, so people can sign in on their own phones. Visitors answer a few quick questions: are they working with an agent, when are they hoping to move, and do they have a home to sell. Everyone lands in Em as a contact (or is matched to someone you already have), and you can watch them come in live. About 15 minutes after it ends, your phone tells you who came, everyone is on Today with a thank-you to send, and one button has Em write every thank-you for you to read and send. Visitors working with another agent get a simple thank-you, nothing more.
- NewOctober 10, 2026
Plans: Em lines up the touches for you
Two plans keep people from slipping through the cracks. After closing: a thank-you, a first week call, a 30 day check-in, a review ask, Thanksgiving, and New Year notes, a homestead reminder, a 6 month note, and the one year home anniversary. New contact: eight weeks of calls, something useful to look at, and a check-in on what's changed. Em starts them on her own when you add someone or move them to Closed or Past client. Each step shows up on Today on its day, ready to write or call, and nothing ever sends on its own. Already reached them? The step counts as done. See the steps, change the closing date, pause, or stop a plan on their page, and turn off starting them on their own in your profile under Plans.
- NewOctober 10, 2026
See everything Em did on her own today
Em fills in a lot for you: a budget from a note, an area from an email, a showing on your calendar, a promise to keep. Now there's one place to see all of it. On Today, tap the line that says how many things Em filed on her own today. You'll see every change by person, with the words she read it from and what it replaced. Something wrong? Tap Undo or Remove right there, and Em learns from the fix. See yesterday's too.
- NewOctober 10, 2026
A daily goal, and a streak to keep
Today now shows how many people you've reached so far against your daily goal (5 to start): a call, text, email, meeting, or showing. Each person counts once a day; calls nobody picked up and campaign emails don't count. Hit it and you get a little celebration, and your streak grows. Weekends never break a streak, so a quiet Sunday is fine. Your morning notification tells you where your streak stands. Change the goal in your profile under Your daily goal.
- NewOctober 10, 2026
How did it go? Em asks after every showing
About 30 minutes after a showing or meeting ends, your phone asks how it went. Tap it, tap the mic, and talk: "They loved the kitchen, hated the busy street, want to see it again Saturday." Em files it on their record like any note, puts Saturday on the calendar, and keeps track of anything you promised. Back to back showings get one question at the end, and you step through each. Skipped it? It waits on Today under How did it go? until the next day. Change the timing, or turn it off, in your profile under Before and after meetings.
- NewOctober 10, 2026
Em learns from your fixes
When Em fills in something wrong from a note or email and you fix it (change the value before saving, tap Not right, undo it, or edit the field), she remembers. Every few fixes she turns them into habits about how you write, like what your shorthand for a price means or where you want school names filed, and reads every note after that with them. See and remove them under How Em reads your notes in your profile. The more you correct her, the less you'll need to.
- NewOctober 9, 2026
Write an email or text yourself
Already know what to say? Tap Email or Text on someone's page, then Write it myself. You get a blank email (with your signature) or text to type and send, with no credits used. Em still files it on their timeline and reads it for anything you promised. If you'd like Em to polish what you wrote, the Shorter, Warmer, and More direct buttons still work. When a client is waiting on a reply, Answer their email is one tap away on the same screen. Em also learns your voice from the emails you write yourself, so the ones she writes for you sound more like you over time.
- NewOctober 9, 2026
Em keeps track of what you promised
When you tell a client you'll do something ("I'll send you comps by Monday", "let me find out about the HOA"), in a note, a logged call, or an email you send, Em keeps it as a promise. It shows on their page marked You promised, with your exact words, and lands on Today the day before it's due, with a button to write the email. No day given? Em gives it two days. When your note or email shows it's done ("Here are the comps"), or the client thanks you for it, Em checks it off on her own. Promises also show in the brief before a meeting.
- NewOctober 9, 2026
Your morning, at your time, on your phone
Pick when your morning goes out (5:00 to 10:00 AM, your time) under Your morning in your profile. Along with the email, your phone gets a short notification: "5 people worth a touch today. 2 on your calendar, first at 10:00 AM." Tap it to open Today. On Mondays it starts with how last week went. Quiet days are skipped, and you can turn the email or the notification off on its own. The Monday email comes at your morning time too.
- NewOctober 9, 2026
A brief on your phone before every meeting
30 minutes before a showing, meeting, or call with someone in Em, your phone buzzes with a quick brief: who's coming (kids by name and age), what they want, and the last thing you talked about. Tap it for the full page, with Call, Text, and Directions buttons, what's still open, and any birthday coming up. Turn on notifications from the offer on Today or under Briefs before meetings in your profile, where you can also pick 10 minutes to an hour ahead. On iPhone, add Em to your Home Screen first. No phone set up? The brief comes by email instead. Today's schedule has a Brief link on each appointment too. It's free; briefs don't use credits.
- ImprovedOctober 9, 2026
Addresses look right, however they were typed
Addresses now save in Title Case with a 2 letter state, like phones and emails already do: "8810 STONE OAK PKWY, SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS 78258" becomes "8810 Stone Oak Pkwy, San Antonio TX 78258". Directions (NW), unit numbers (Apt 4B), ordinals (3rd St) and PO Box come out the standard way. Names you typed with special capitals, like McAllen or DeZavala, are left alone. Addresses already in Em have been tidied too.
- NewOctober 9, 2026
Talk to Em
There's a mic in the Ask Em box on Today and in the note box on every contact page. Tap it and talk: "Who's looking in Stone Oak?" gets an answer, and "Showed the Patels 22 Elm, they want a pool" is filed like any note, kept on their timeline as your voice note. Tap the mic again when you're done, or just pause. It uses your browser's own speech-to-text (Chrome, Edge, and Safari, phones too), so nothing is recorded and it doesn't use credits. Ask Em answers from your voice notes like anything else you've told her.
- ImprovedOctober 9, 2026
Em adds spouses and kids to the household for you
Mention someone in a note, like "their son Jake is 12" or "Bob's wife Susie is on the loan too", and Em adds them to the household on their own: kids as kids, a spouse or partner as an adult, with the record's name updated to match. Kids and spouses you'd already noted have been added too. Em also knows who's in each household when filing a note, so "Emma turns 8 on May 3" puts the birthday on Emma. Ask Em knows the kids in each household as well. If Em adds someone by mistake, take them off with Remove on the Household card.
- NewOctober 9, 2026
Households: real people inside one record
Every contact page has a Household card listing the people in that record: adults and kids. You still work with one record ("Bob and Susie Smith"), and anything shared, like a budget, an area or "they bought 123 Main Street", applies to everyone. Birthdays, phones, emails, and jobs stay with each person. Add someone (a spouse or a kid), fix a name, or Join someone already in Em into the household. Own record moves one person to a record of their own, and Split separates every adult. Each new record keeps that person's own details and a full copy of everything shared: what they wanted, the address, every note, email, and showing. Names now use "and" instead of "&" everywhere.
- ImprovedOctober 9, 2026
Logged calls stay off your calendar, and tidier Today buttons
Logging a call (or a note about a showing that already happened) now goes on the client's timeline only. Your calendar, Today's schedule, the Coming up card, and your phone's calendar show what's booked ahead, like "call Ben Thursday at 2". Once today's move for someone is done, it leaves their page. On Today, every move's main button is the same width, with the small buttons lined up in the same columns. On a narrower screen the buttons sit under the text instead of squeezing it. Check-ins now lists everyone who's due by name, with a link to each person. People without an email get Write a text and Log a call buttons.
- NewOctober 9, 2026
Em's calendar on your phone
On Calendar, tap Add to your phone's calendar (or the link under Today's schedule). One tap adds Em to Apple Calendar on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, or to Google Calendar or Outlook. Your showings, meetings, calls, deadlines, to-dos, birthdays, and anniversaries then show up next to everything else, with the client's name and phone number, and stay up to date on their own. Calendar apps check every few hours. Once your calendar has checked in, the button says so.
- NewOctober 9, 2026
Em HQ shows what went wrong
For SuperAdmins: Em now keeps track of pages or actions that fail, AI calls that fail, emails that don't send, and daily jobs that break. Em HQ shows the last 7 days, with the same problem counted once. Copy for Claude puts the list on your clipboard, ready to paste into a build session. If 10 or more problems happen in an hour, SuperAdmins get an email (at most once every 6 hours), plus a short list each morning when anything went wrong the day before.
- NewOctober 9, 2026
Download everything, or close your account
Your profile has a new Your account section. Download everything gives you your contacts, timeline, notes and emails, to-dos, messages sent, and shorthand as spreadsheets in one .zip file. Close my account pauses everything right away and deletes your account and data after 30 days; until then you can sign in to download it or keep your account. Also fixed: a button on the empty People page whose text didn't show, and pressing Enter in Your shorthand now adds the word instead of saving your whole profile.
- ImprovedOctober 5, 2026
Em HQ shows where every dollar goes
For SuperAdmins: Em HQ now has a monthly statement. It shows what agents paid for credits, the Stripe fees, and the AI behind paid credits, then what Em pays for itself: its own background AI, the AI behind free and given credits, test set runs, and monthly bills. A new chart shows what Em spends each month against credit sales, with an AI only view. Another shows how many free, given, and paid credits agents used. You can add the monthly bills (hosting, database, email sending) once, and they count every month until you stop them. Test set runs now count in AI spend too.
- ImprovedOctober 5, 2026
Em HQ shows more at a glance
For SuperAdmins: every number at the top of Em HQ now has a small trend line beside it. New charts show people using Em and AI spend day by day for the last 30 days, credits bought against credits used by month, where the AI money goes feature by feature, and who uses Em most. How often Em gets it right and which of Today's moves people act on are now bars you can read in a second. The full month by month table is still there, one tap away.
- ImprovedOctober 5, 2026
Em thinks harder when a question needs it, and keeps area names tidy
Questions that need judgment, like "who should I call first this week, and why?", now go to Em's stronger model for a more thoughtful answer. They use 2 credits instead of 1; everyday lookups stay at 1. And area names stay consistent: "the stone oak area" in a note or an import is saved as Stone Oak, matching how your other contacts already say it, so Ask Em finds everyone looking there.
- ImprovedOctober 5, 2026
Follow-up questions, smarter search, and drafts that check their facts
After Em answers, you can keep going: "which of those have a dog?" or "and who's pre-approved?" picks up from the people she just named. She also finds notes and emails by the root of a word now, so a question about someone relocating finds the note that says "relocate". And drafts check their facts: if Em writes a price, time, or date that isn't in the client's record or your request, it shows in brackets, like [check: $600K], and the draft can't go out until you fix or confirm it.
- NewOctober 5, 2026
Em asks when she's not sure, and checks her answers
When a note uses shorthand Em doesn't know ("showed the Patels 3 homes in SO"), she now asks what you meant instead of guessing, and remembers your answer for every note, question, and draft after that. You'll see her questions right after a note or on Today, and everything she's learned under Your shorthand on your profile, where you can add your own. Ask Em is sharper too: for questions like "who's looking in Stone Oak under 500?" she checks the area, budget, stage, and dates against your records exactly, shows what she checked, and links the notes and emails her answer came from. Tap ๐ or ๐ on an answer to tell us how she did.
- NewOctober 5, 2026
Em HQ for SuperAdmins
SuperAdmins have a new Em HQ page (in the sidebar, or on your profile on a phone): AI spend and credit sales by month, what's left after AI costs, active people, accounts, and contacts, what each agent uses, and buys, what Em's AI work costs feature by feature, and what's working, like how often Em's suggestions are accepted, how many drafts get sent as written, and which of Today's moves people act on.

Let an assistant send emails for you
On your profile, under Who helps you, you can now let a particular assistant send emails and start campaigns for you without waiting for your OK. It's off until you turn it on. Everything they send still shows their name on your timeline. Texts always come to you to send, since a text comes from whoever's phone sends it.
- NewOctober 5, 2026
Assistants and team leaders work in your book
If you have an assistant, they can now work in your book: they see your Today, your people, and your inbox, log calls, and notes, and have Em write emails and texts. Nothing goes to a client without you, though. Anything they write lands on your Today under Waiting for your OK, with their note, so you can edit it and send it (or open it in Messages) or discard it. Campaigns work the same way: your assistant sets one up and sends it to you, and you start it. Your morning email tells you when something's waiting. Notes and calls they log show their name on the timeline, and what they ask Em to do uses your credits. Assistants who help more than one agent switch books from the bar at the top. Team leaders can tap Open book next to a teammate on the Team page to look through their book, read only, and Back to my book to return.
- ImprovedOctober 4, 2026
People shows phone and email, and sorts
The People list now shows each person's phone and email (tap to call or email), and you can sort by name, phone, email, stage, or last contact by tapping a column heading. On a phone, the details sit under each name and there's a Sort by menu. Search finds people by email or phone number too.
- NewOctober 4, 2026
Undo a merge, and a Monday email
Merged two people by mistake? Tap Undo right after, or find it under Recent merges on the Duplicates page (People, then Duplicates) for 30 days. Both people come back exactly as they were, each with their own notes, emails, and details. And every Monday morning Em now emails you how last week went: your touches compared with the week before, emails and texts sent, new people, deals that moved, what's coming up, and a few people worth a hello. Turn it off, or send yourself one now, on your profile.

Getting started, export, and scanning for one person
New to Em? Today now shows a short checklist: tell Em who you are, bring in your people, let Em see your email, ask Em something, and reach out to someone. Each step ticks off as you do it, and you can hide it any time. On People, tap Export to download every contact and their details as a spreadsheet; your book is always yours. On a contact's page, Scan a card adds what's on a business card or document straight to them. And imports and scans now spot nicknames, typos, and couples (Bob and Robert McGee), so you can add to the person you already have instead of a second copy.
- NewOctober 4, 2026
Em writes texts too
When Em writes to a client, switch from Email to Text at the top. She writes a short text in your voice (no greeting line, no sign-off), and Open in Messages opens your phone's Messages with their number and the text filled in, ready to send. It's logged as a text on their timeline and today's move is ticked off. On a computer, tap Copy instead and send it from your phone. Clients with a phone number but no email start on Text. A text costs 1 credit.
- ImprovedOctober 4, 2026
Em asks before adding someone twice
When you add a contact, Em now checks for more than the exact name: the same phone, a nickname, or typo (Bob and Robert, Jon and John), or someone who's already in Em as part of a couple. If it looks like you have them, she asks first and offers to open them instead.
- NewOctober 4, 2026
Find and merge duplicates
Em now spots people who are in your contacts twice: the same email or phone, the same name, a nickname, or a typo (Bob and Robert McGee, Jon and John Smith), or someone added on their own and again as part of a couple. When she finds any, People shows a Review duplicates link. See both side by side, pick which one to keep, and merge: every note, email, task, and detail ends up on one person. Not the same person? Tap that and Em won't ask again.
- ImprovedOctober 4, 2026
Asking Em costs less
When you ask Em several questions in a row, she now reuses what she already read about your contacts instead of reading it all again. Follow-up questions cost far less behind the scenes, especially with a big contact list, which keeps your credits and her costs down. Filing a batch of emails got the same treatment.
- NewOctober 4, 2026
Credits
You now get 500 credits every month for the things you ask Em to do: a question is 1 credit, a draft or rewrite is 2, a scanned photo or page is 3, and a whole campaign is 5. Filing your emails and notes, reading new leads, your morning brief, and learning how you write are always included. If Em can't finish something, you get the credits back. Need more? Buy a pack on the new Credits page (tap Credits under your touches, or on your profile on a phone). Bought credits never expire.
- NewOctober 3, 2026
Scan to add people
On People, tap Scan to take a photo or upload a file: a business card, an open house sign-in sheet (handwriting too), a contract, a screenshot of a contact on your phone, a PDF, a Word document, or a contact shared from your phone (.vcf). Em finds every name, email, and phone, flags anything hard to read, and spots people you already have. You check each one, then add them in one tap. The file stays on each person's timeline, and new leads go straight onto Today.
- NewOctober 3, 2026
Passwords, teams, and invites
You can now sign in with your email and a password. Never set one? Tap "Forgot password?" on the sign-in page (or Change password on your profile) and choose one; emailed sign-in codes still work too. Em now has Team Leaders and Assistants: team leaders invite people from the new Team page, see how everyone's doing, and choose which agents each assistant supports. Google sign-in is coming soon.
- NewOctober 3, 2026
Today learns what you act on
Each suggestion on Today now has a โ (Not now) button. Skip someone and they stay off your list for a few days. Em also notices which kinds of suggestions you act on and which you pass on, and ranks them higher or lower for you, so your list gets more useful the more you use it. Don't want a kind at all, like home anniversaries? Tap "Stop suggesting" after skipping one. Deadlines, new leads, client emails, worried clients, and your to-dos can move up but never down. See what Em has learned, turn kinds back on, or start over on your profile.
- NewOctober 3, 2026
Em learns how you write
When you change one of Em's drafts before sending it, she notices what you changed: how you open, how long you go, words you cut, how you sign off. She also learns from emails you write yourself and BCC to Em. Every few emails she turns that into short habits she uses in every draft and campaign, so you'll edit less over time. See what she's learned on your profile, remove anything that's wrong, or turn it off. Fixing a time or a price doesn't count, only how it's written.
- NewOctober 3, 2026
Campaigns
Send a short email series to a group: a welcome for new leads, a note to your sphere, a monthly touch for leads who aren't ready yet. Pick who gets it, tell Em what it's about, and Em writes each email in your voice. You read and edit every one (and can send yourself a test) before you start. Em sends each email on its day, adds new people as they match if you want, and stops for anyone who replies or unsubscribes. Unsubscribing marks them do not contact. Find it in the sidebar, or on your profile on a phone.
- NewOctober 3, 2026
Ask Em about your clients
The box at the top of Today now answers questions too. Ask "Who's looking in Stone Oak under 500?", "What did Grace say about the HOA?" or "Who has a closing coming up?" and Em answers from your notes, emails, and contacts, with links to the people it mentions. Anything that isn't a question is still filed as a note. Press Ctrl+K (or Cmd+K on a Mac) from any page to jump to it.
- NewOctober 3, 2026
Put Em on your phone
Em can live on your home screen like an app: full screen, one tap away, no app store. On an iPhone, Today shows how (Share, then Add to Home Screen); on Android and in Chrome there's an Install button. It's on your profile too.
- NewOctober 3, 2026
Your morning email
Each morning around 7, Em emails you Today's brief: who's waiting on a reply, your top moves, what's on your calendar, contract deadlines in the next few days, and anything that needs your OK, each linked straight into Em. Quiet days are skipped. Turn it off, or send yourself one now to see it, from your profile.
- NewOctober 3, 2026
A round of check-ins in minutes
When people in your sphere or past clients haven't heard from you in 90 days, Today offers to draft their check-ins. Pick who, and Em writes a short, personal note for each (mentioning something it knows about them, never a sales pitch). You review them one at a time: send, edit, or skip. Em writes the next one while you read.
- NewOctober 3, 2026
Inbox
Inbox in the sidebar puts everything waiting on you in one place: client emails (who's waiting and for how long, the full email, and Draft reply, Log a call, or No reply needed right there), everything that Needs your OK, and Who's this? for people who emailed but aren't in Em yet.
- NewOctober 3, 2026
Reports
Reports in the sidebar shows how you're doing over the last 30 days, 90 days, or 12 months: touches (with a weekly chart), new leads, how fast you answer new leads and client emails, where leads come from and how many became clients, deals that went under contract or closed, and what Em did for you, including the AI cost. Stage changes are now logged on the timeline too, so deal counts fill in from here on.
- NewOctober 3, 2026
Pipeline board
Pipeline in the sidebar (and the bottom bar on your phone) now shows everyone by stage: new leads, nurturing, active, under contract, and closed. Drag a card to another column to change their stage, or use Move on the card. Each card shows their budget or contract price, area, last contact, and how hot they are today, and under contract cards show the next deadline with a countdown. Columns total what's under contract and closed. Em picks up a contract price from your notes too ("under contract at 455").
- NewOctober 3, 2026
Log calls and texts, by typing or talking
The phone button on Today (and Log on any contact page) now works. Pick call, text, or in person, how it went, and say what you talked about: tap the mic to talk instead of type. Em logs it on the timeline, counts it as contact, checks off today's move, and reads what you said like a note, so "she wants to see Stone Oak Saturday at 10" lands on the calendar. No answer? Em can remind you to try again tomorrow.
- ImprovedOctober 3, 2026
Referrals that hide the details behind a link
ReferralExchange, HomeLight, and similar sites email "a new buyer referral is waiting" without saying who. Em now adds a placeholder right away ("Buyer referral in Knippa") with Open referral at the top of Today, which takes you straight to it. Once you've accepted it, paste their details on the placeholder (or forward the details email) and Em fills in the contact and switches Today to Reach out. Em never opens the link or accepts a referral for you.
- NewOctober 3, 2026
Leads from Zillow, Realtor.com and your website
Forward a lead email to your Em address (it's on your profile), or set that address as your lead notification email in Zillow, Realtor.com or your website. Em adds the person as a new lead with their phone, email, the home they asked about, and where they came from, and puts Reply now at the top of Today. The first draft answers their question. If they're already in Em, Em notes the new inquiry on them instead.
- NewOctober 3, 2026
Who's this?, PDFs, and follow-ups that don't slip
When someone who isn't in Em emails you (a lender, a title officer, a new lead), Today asks who it is: add them, attach the address to someone you have, or ignore it for good. Em now reads PDFs that come with a client's email, like a pre-approval letter or a contract, for amounts and dates. A client waiting on your reply shows how long they've waited, and if you asked a client something by email and heard nothing in 4 days, Em suggests a short follow-up.
- NewOctober 3, 2026
Em watches for deadlines, requests, promises, and referrals
Mention contract dates in a note or email (option period, financing, appraisal, closing) and Em puts them on the calendar in purple, with a countdown and a spot on Today as they get close. If a client asks not to be contacted, Em stops right away: no drafts, no sends, no Today, until you turn it off on their page. A client who's holding off or went elsewhere gets a check-back to-do. When a client says they'll send something, Em tracks it as "Waiting on them" and nudges you if it's late. And when someone mentions a friend or family member who might buy or sell, Em asks if you want to add them as a lead.
- ImprovedOctober 3, 2026
Out-of-office replies, bounces, and emails sent from Gmail
Out-of-office replies no longer count as the client answering: they show on the timeline ("Out of office until Mon, Oct 12") and Em holds off on email nudges until they're back. If an email Em sent bounces, the client goes on Today with "Call instead" and Em asks whether to remove the bad address. Emailing from Gmail or Outlook? Your profile has a private BCC address: copy it on an email and Em logs it on the client's timeline, counts it as contact, and reads it for calendar changes.
- ImprovedOctober 3, 2026
Em reads emails for calendar changes
When a client emails to move or cancel an appointment ("could we do 4 instead of 3:30?"), Em puts it on Needs your OK: tap Accept and the calendar, the contact's Coming up card, and their timeline all update. If you answer from Em ("4 works"), Em updates the calendar on its own. Em also picks up details from the emails, like it does from your notes.
- ImprovedOctober 3, 2026
Open anything on the calendar
Click an appointment, to-do, or date on the calendar to see the details: when, who (with their phone and email), and the note it came from. Reschedule or cancel an appointment, mark a to-do done or move it, write to someone on their birthday, or jot down how a showing went. Contact pages now have a Coming up card with their next appointments, and those open the same way.
- ImprovedOctober 3, 2026
Imports add to people you have, remember your choices, and read your notes
Someone in your file is already in Em? Em adds only what's missing (a new phone, a birthday, notes) and never changes what you've got. You pick per person: add to them, skip, or make a new contact. Em recognizes exports from Google, Outlook, Follow Up Boss, kvCORE, and your iPhone, and remembers how you matched the columns, so the next file from the same place is one click. After an import, Em can read the old notes and fill in details like kids, pets, and where people work. It shows the cost first, and you can stop any time.
- ImprovedOctober 3, 2026
Import spots couples on separate rows
If your old CRM kept John Smith and Jane Smith as two people at the same address (or sharing a phone or email), Em offers to combine them into John & Jane Smith, with each person's details kept with them. You choose pair by pair.
- ImprovedOctober 3, 2026
Fix it before you OK it
Needs your OK now has Edit, so if Em heard "cash" and you meant conventional, change it and save. Not right skips it without saving. Accepting a new household member adds them to the name (Bob becomes Bob & Karen), and you can edit any contact's name from their page.
- NewOctober 3, 2026
Import your contacts
People, then Import. Drop in a .csv or .xlsx from any CRM or spreadsheet and Em matches the columns, keeps couples together, tidies phones and dates, translates your old stages, and skips people you already have. You see everything before it saves, and you can undo an import for 7 days. Want the cleanest result? Use Em's template.
- ImprovedOctober 3, 2026
Key facts at a glance
The pills under a client's story now show what matters for their search: budget, bedrooms, baths, areas, property type, and must-haves. A seller's home address shows under Details, and Em writes counts the way agents do: 4 bedroom, 3 bath, 2 car garage.
- NewOctober 3, 2026
Add contacts
Add contact on Today or People: a name, what they are (buyer, seller, and so on), where they are, emails and phones, and an optional note Em reads to fill in the rest. Em checks you don't already have them. New leads go to the top of Today right away.
- NewOctober 3, 2026
What's new
This page. Every time Em learns something new, it shows up here, and a dot in the sidebar tells you there's something you haven't seen.
- NewOctober 3, 2026
Calendar
See your month at a glance, or switch to a week or a single day. Showings and meetings are red, to-dos are blue, and birthdays and anniversaries are gold, every year.
- FixedOctober 3, 2026
Answer once, cleared everywhere
When the same question shows under your note and in the sidebar, answering it in one place now clears the other too.
- NewOctober 2, 2026
One email, one contact
An email address can only belong to one client, so Em always knows whose reply is whose. If you give a client an address someone else has, Em offers to move it with one tap.
- NewOctober 2, 2026
Take details away with a note
Write "Tom's email isn't matt@..." or "they dropped the pool" and Em asks before removing it. Nothing is ever deleted without your OK.
- ImprovedOctober 2, 2026
Read whole emails on the timeline
Emails you send and replies you get now have a Show email link with the full message.
- NewOctober 2, 2026
Client replies land in Em
When a client writes back, it goes on their timeline and to the top of Today with a Draft reply button. Em's draft answers what they actually said.
- NewOctober 2, 2026
No more bounced replies
If a client's email app replies to your Em sending address instead of to you, Em passes it straight to your inbox. Hit Reply and it goes to them.
- ImprovedOctober 2, 2026
Your voice wins on style
Your sign-off and "How you like to sound" notes now override Em's defaults, like opening with "Ben - ". The ground rules (no made-up facts, fair housing) never change.
- ImprovedOctober 2, 2026
Signatures look the way you wrote them
Blank lines and spacing in your signature are kept. Your office address is now street, city, state, and ZIP, shown on two lines with no comma before the state. Phone numbers tidy themselves to (210) 555-0142.
- NewOctober 2, 2026
Em drafts and sends your emails
Draft email on Today or a contact writes it in your voice from what Em knows. Change the tone, edit anything, then Send. It goes out from your Em address, replies come to you, and it's logged on their timeline.
- NewOctober 2, 2026
Your profile
Add your photo (drag and zoom to frame it), contact details, brokerage, license, and a bit about yourself. Em uses it for your signature and to sound like you.
- ImprovedOctober 2, 2026
Appointments update instead of doubling up
"The Tuesday meeting is at 4pm" now changes the meeting you already have, and "they cancelled Saturday" takes it off.
- ImprovedOctober 2, 2026
Households, person by person
For couples like Marisol and Dev, birthdays, phones, and emails belong to the right person. If a note isn't clear about whose it is, Em asks.
- NewOctober 2, 2026
Contact pages
Every client has a page: the story so far in a few sentences, their next best move, a timeline, to-dos, and every detail Em has filed under All fields.
- NewOctober 2, 2026
Jot a note, Em files it
Type something like "Patels loved the backyard, approved up to 525" and Em updates the right client. Small things save on their own with Undo; important ones wait for your OK.
- NewOctober 2, 2026

Your ranked list of who to reach out to and why, plus today's schedule, your pipeline, and the people who have gone quiet.
